A while ago Roslin Petion first posted on her plurk that she was thinking about putting together a menswear line and wanted to get an idea of what men wanted. I really don’t think she knew what she was getting into when I kept pumping more and more images into the private plurk of our conversation. And in the end she didn’t use any of it because her partner in crime CJ Carnot took over the line and did what he wanted! Well, if it’s any consolation, I do like what he came up with and this is what I put together:

Well good evening everybody! Welcome back to my crazy world of Second Life fashion for part deux of my looks for Sartoria. How odd is it that it seems that all of my posts are showing up on Sundays… almost like I’m on a schedule. That’s it I need to make a post that comes out next Wednesday just to throw you all for a loop. To be honest, I’ve just had a few busy weeks with doing RL things and the weekends are really the only time I have time to post. Enough RL BS let’s get you my looks ASAP:
Alright, so I may or may not have had these suits sitting in my inventory since oh… late January sounds right. Occasionally, as mentioned above, I get busy and posts get delayed, but my penchant for shopping really never ends. Above I have my two favorite suits from the Sartoria collection: The Martin suit (left) and The Velvet Suit (right).
So…yeah I finally remembered that I have this blog thing. My life has been crazy lately, so the blog was put on the back burner for a lil’ bit. And now I’m back…with stolen items. OK sort of stolen items. Even with the crazy lifestyle I’ve been living lately, I’m still keeping up with the male blogs that I browse on my lunch time. These two looks are based around two items that I saw that I needed to get.
The first stolen item is this fantastically created jacket from Mr. Poet that I saw on the Jewnas Brothers blog. This version of the coat is the opposite version of the one that James is wearing. It reminds me of Fresh Prince of Bel Air when Will flips his blazer inside out because the paisley pattern on the inside of the coat looks cooler. I’ll let James be the cool one because he can pull off more crazy styles than I can. The next stolen piece here came from Ryan @ Men’s Second Style. After he highlighted a bunch of pieces from YV, I had to roll over there and pick them up. The textures on the accessories are fantastically created. Here I use the Victor knuckle gloves along with the Neo oversized watch. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ve always been a big fan of the wide-band watches. The final stolen piece from this is the scarf from Viva La Glam. Sadly, I can’t remember who I stole this one from. I just remember seeing somebody wearing some Viva La Glam stuff and I hadn’t even realized that Chloris (the designer) had reopened her shop. I scooted my butt over there and picked up this fantastic scarf.
Now the main piece to this that I stole comes from a fantastic blog post I saw on the Le Look! blog. As soon as I saw that coat I knew I had to have it. It is a little more expensive than I thought it would be, but it’s really worth it. Not everybody can pull off this coat, so don’t go suggesting this to somebody that’s very new to SL because it’ll look very out-of-place on them. A coat like this requires the extra details that only an SLer with a good amount of experience in the fashion world can pull off. That may also speak to why the price tag is how it is. I love the soft floral touches to this coat and the flexi is put together quite well. I don’t think I stole anything else from this one other than maybe the :sey shirt that’s underneath the coat from Bronson. Although technically I already had that in my inventory, he simply reminded me that I hadn’t blogged it yet. 😉 You can’t see all of the detail of this shirt in my shot obviously, but from the little you can see it’s a great purple plaid and the black detailed edging is fantastic as well.
That’s all I’ve got for my latest post. My lifestyle is going to be getting busier, so I can’t say when the next one is coming but I will say that there will be a next one. New York’s S/S10 fashion week begins on Thursday, so you bet your bootay that I’ll be watching for those images when they come strolling through Men.Style.com, NY Mag, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, etc.

Honestly, not too much for talking right now. Here’s a quick hitter of the things of note in this look. The hoodie is from Atomic. She just opened up her new island and it’s pretty fantastic. From what I gathered, the sim is created of completely handmade textures and that’s a chore to say the least. The only main things I saw that weren’t already in her satellite stores for guys were the male skins. I tried them on, but they weren’t my cup of tea. On the hoodie itself is something pretty cool. The prim piece on the wrist is actually two prims, one connects to the forearm and the other connects to the hand. The prims work together almost like a ball and socket joint, so that as your hands move, in whatever AO you have, the prims will follow.
The other point of note in this look are the shoes. The House of Curios has been coming up with some better and better items for their bottom basement prices. These Bolts shoes fit that mold. They’re scripted such that you can change the body of the shoe, the sole, and laces. Their blue-window system is not as great as say the ones that come with the UBU Drunks, but for L$40 how can you go wrong?
