Rainy Day

Hola! I’m up in here once again to blog up some things in my inventory that need not stay in there forever and ever. It’s actually quite the sunny day outside right now, but I’ve been feeling like my only time available for blogging or taking pictures are rainy days. Rainy days for me would be days without any sports or social activities going on and I can take the time to put together a post. I’d love to be out in the Sun today, but it’s deceiving as it’s a bit cool today at 31°F. Thus, you get a post from me! Are you excited!? Okay now calm down your excitement because my pics are not that amazing. Let’s get into it:

Sooooooo… I don’t really know what to say here. Okay here’s how this look came together… Step 1: Cut a hole in the box… wait no… Take off sailor clothes and strip to nothing. Step 2: Put your ju… dammit… Rummage through inventory and put on clothing. Step 3: Size previous clothing as most of it hasn’t been worn before.

#1 In The Hood G

Happy Sunday! And yes, I realized I missed a Sunday in there without a post. My apologies, but I had a lot going on last weekend. I’ve had so much backed up and purchased that I felt the need to throw three looks into this one. Please excuse the fact that they’re all blue, but realize that two of the three do come in a multitude of colors. Let’s hit it.

The Hood Collage

Okay, so maybe it’s 100% obvious that I didn’t shoot these in any place that would be considered the hood. I went seaside with these because two of my looks have dock shoes and those would probably look a bit awkward in a “hood” setting. All three of these hoodies are on the new-ish side and they all have different personalities that I felt when I put each of them on. Thus, let’s get into those personalities now.

Stolen Blacks

So…yeah I finally remembered that I have this blog thing. My life has been crazy lately, so the blog was put on the back burner for a lil’ bit. And now I’m back…with stolen items. OK sort of stolen items. Even with the crazy lifestyle I’ve been living lately, I’m still keeping up with the male blogs that I browse on my lunch time. These two looks are based around two items that I saw that I needed to get.

Stolen Blacks #1

The first stolen item is this fantastically created jacket from Mr. Poet that I saw on the Jewnas Brothers blog. This version of the coat is the opposite version of the one that James is wearing. It reminds me of Fresh Prince of Bel Air when Will flips his blazer inside out because the paisley pattern on the inside of the coat looks cooler. I’ll let James be the cool one because he can pull off more crazy styles than I can. The next stolen piece here came from Ryan @ Men’s Second Style. After he highlighted a bunch of pieces from YV, I had to roll over there and pick them up. The textures on the accessories are fantastically created. Here I use the Victor knuckle gloves along with the Neo oversized watch. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ve always been a big fan of the wide-band watches. The final stolen piece from this is the scarf from Viva La Glam. Sadly, I can’t remember who I stole this one from. I just remember seeing somebody wearing some Viva La Glam stuff and I hadn’t even realized that Chloris (the designer) had reopened her shop. I scooted my butt over there and picked up this fantastic scarf.

Stolen Blacks #2

Now the main piece to this that I stole comes from a fantastic blog post I saw on the Le Look! blog. As soon as I saw that coat I knew I had to have it. It is a little more expensive than I thought it would be, but it’s really worth it. Not everybody can pull off this coat, so don’t go suggesting this to somebody that’s very new to SL because it’ll look very out-of-place on them. A coat like this requires the extra details that only an SLer with a good amount of experience in the fashion world can pull off. That may also speak to why the price tag is how it is. I love the soft floral touches to this coat and the flexi is put together quite well. I don’t think I stole anything else from this one other than maybe the :sey shirt that’s underneath the coat from Bronson. Although technically I already had that in my inventory, he simply reminded me that I hadn’t blogged it yet. 😉 You can’t see all of the detail of this shirt in my shot obviously, but from the little you can see it’s a great purple plaid and the black detailed edging is fantastic as well.

That’s all I’ve got for my latest post. My lifestyle is going to be getting busier, so I can’t say when the next one is coming but I will say that there will be a next one. New York’s S/S10 fashion week begins on Thursday, so you bet your bootay that I’ll be watching for those images when they come strolling through Men.Style.com, NY Mag, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, etc.
